Fall River Children's Christmas Parade

Join us for the Fall River Children’s Christmas Parade on December 7, 2019. Come ride the float or march in the Annual Children’s Christmas Parade through the heart of downtown. Also, if any parents have any costumes from another country or culture, please feel free to wear them during the parade as it will match the theme of the float. Please view and print off the Fall River Children's Christmas Parade flyer to designate the number of participants.

Holy Name Bus Trip to the National Shrine of Our Lady of LaSalette

Join us on Saturday, December 14, 2019. We will be taking part in Mass, enjoy a concert with Fr. Pat, tour the Creche museum, and enjoy the Festival of Lights. The bus will leave the Holy Name parking lot at 1:30 p.m. and depart from LaSalette at 7:00 p.m. The cost of the bus trip is $10.00 per person with limited seats. Please contact Ms. Dororthy Mahoney-Pacheco in the Faith Formation office with questions - 508-678-7532. Please view and print off the order form for a seat on the bus.

Cookie Swap

Knights of Columbus Coats for Kids

Does a child in your family need a new winter coat? Bring children to a Knights of Columbus (KofC) Coats for Kids distribution on Saturday, November 30 from 9:00 a.m. to noon to select a brand new free winter coat!

KofC distribution locations:

  • Bishop Connolly High School - Fall River
  • Bishop Stang High School - North Dartmouth
  • Coyle and Cassidy High School - Taunton

2019 Annual Thanksgiving Walk-a-Thon

Mark your calendars for our 2019 annual Thanksgiving walk-a-thon! Please encourage your students to raise a minimum of $10.00 for this valuable work, as they walk a combined 10k as part of a class relay on Wednesday, November 27. Please have them reach out to family and friends to ask for their support during this season of Thanksgiving. For more information on this event, please view the walk-a-thon flyer. Kindly return donations by Tuesday, November 26. Please view and print the walk-a-thon form. Teachers will collect envelopes from families and turn in to the main office. Thank you for your support!

    Basket Assembly for Thanksgiving Food Drive

    There will be a basket assembly for the Thanksgiving food drive on Sunday, November 17 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the parish center. We encourage all middle school students to help. This is a community service opportunity. For more information, please view the youth event flyer.

    Yankee Candle Fundraiser

    Our Yankee candle fundraiser has begun, and order forms have been sent home with students. Please return all orders to the school office by noon on Friday, November 1. Thank you for your support!

    Winter Uniforms

    Please remember that students need to begin wearing their winter uniforms on Monday, November 4. Please contact us with any questions or concerns.

    Thanksgiving Food Drive

    It's that time of year! It's time for our Thanksgiving food drive. The food drive will run from Sunday, November 3 through Sunday, November 17. It is our goal to provide each family with a complete Thanksgiving dinner. We are asking for specific food donations per grade level. In addition, you can make a monetary donation of $20, which will purchase a turkey and complete a food basket for a family in need. Please view our food drive flyer for all the details.
