Thanksgiving Baskets

We are once again asking for donations for our baskets of Thanksgiving. Our goal is to assemble 15 baskets of food for families to be able to eat for one week, not just on Thanksgiving day. Please see our Thanksgiving baskets flyer for our wish list of donations. We ask that you bring in items by Monday, November 21 to give us time to assemble the baskets.

Turkey Trot

Our school turkey trot is on Thursday, November 24 at 9:00 a.m. We will meet at the front parking lot of Bishop Connolly High School. The course is about a mile and a half, and there is a shorter course available for our younger runners. Please see our turkey trot flyer for more information.

Bishop Connolly High School Open House

Bishop Connolly High School is hosting an open house on Thursday, November 3 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Bishop Connolly offers small class sizes, caring faculty, academic support services, interscholastic athletics program, and more. Picture Make-Up Day

Picture make-up day is on Wednesday, November 9. Dress your best, and be ready to smile!

No School

There is no school on Thursday, November 10 due to a professional day for staff and on Friday, November 11 in observance of Veterans Day. Enjoy your long weekend!

Thanksgiving Break

Thanksgiving break is on Thursday, November 24 and on Friday, November 25. School resumes on Monday, November 28. Have a safe and enjoyable holiday!

Halloween Dress Up

On Monday, October 31 we will allow the students of Holy Name School to dress up in costume to celebrate Halloween. That being said, they must follow the dress-up guidelines. Here are some things to be sure to follow:

  • No masks or weapons of any kind. Please leave any handheld items at home.
  • Please refrain from anything too scary. We do not want to scare the younger students.
  • Skirts/dresses cannot be shorter than two inches above the knee.
  • No form-fitting or tight clothing. No spaghetti straps, tanks, or bare shoulders. A loose-fitting sweater will need to be worn.
All Saints Day

On November 1, 2022, Fr Williams will celebrate All Saints Day Mass at Holy Name Church. We invite family and friends to join the Holy Name School community at 9:00 a.m.

Parent-Teacher Conferences

Holy Name School will be holding parent-teacher conferences via Zoom on Thursday, October 27. All conferences will be 10 minutes. Please email your teacher directly to schedule a time for a later date if you need more time. Please see our parent-teacher conferences flyer for links to sign up for an appointment.

Oktoberfest Dinner

Please join us for an Oktoberfest dinner on Saturday, October 29. Doors open at 5:00 p.m., dinner begins at 5:45 p.m., and there will be live entertainment from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tickets are $25 per seat, $135 for a table of six, and $5 for kids.
