For Catholic Schools Week, we would like to honor and thank the Fall River Police Department on the day that we celebrate community. Students will create cards for police officers in their classes. We are asking families for gift card donations to local places around the city in increments of $5 to $10. We hope to include a gift card inside each student's card that we will share with the FRPD on Monday, January 27, 2025. Thank you for your support!
Join us for Open House on Thursday, January 30, 2025. The event will take place at our school from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
There is no school on Monday, January 20 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. School resumes on Tuesday, January 21. Enjoy your long weekend!
Holy Name School is looking for a nurse to fill a long-term substitute position for six to eight weeks. Part-time or full-time schedules are available beginning in March. We encourage all LPNs and RNs to apply! Please send resumes and inquiries to Principal Megan Dos Santos via email.

Our next Holy Name men's breakfast will be on Saturday, December 21 from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. at Holy Name School. As always, it will be a time of fraternity and spiritual nourishment with our speaker for this month, Deacon Chris Paul. We invite all men to join us!
Two Holy Name alumnae, Jayla Pelletier and Lilah Krauzyk, will be holding two cheer/dance workshops. The workshops will be on January 13 and on January 17 from 2:30 to 4:00 pm. The first session will consist of basic moves, skills, choreography, and an introduction to basic partner work. The second session will be a continuation of the choreography and partner work. We invite students in grades 4–8 to sign up.
Grade eight will hold a bake sale at lunch on Thursday, December 19. Everything will be $1. There will be brownies, cookies, and all sorts of treats.

Please do not forget to send students in with a jacket, gloves, hats, etc. for recess especially on exceptionally cold days. We will keep students who are not properly dressed for the weather inside during recess.
Are you in need of a stocking stuffer? Holy Name School will be selling dress down day coupon books from now until December 19.
