Please note our Halloween costume policy. Students may not wear clothing that is overly scary or has demonic/satanic imagery. Students may also not wear masks or bring toy weapons. General dress down rules also apply. Please note that the administration reserves the right to determine if a costume is appropriate, and parents will be called to bring a change of clothes if needed.
We are looking for two parents to assist some of our volunteer coaches. Coaches still in high school are required to have another adult who is CORI'd present. An adult is needed for the 1st/2nd grade team as well as the 3rd/4th grade team. Volunteers will not be responsible for coaching but rather assisting with supervising and being present.
Tuesday, October 15 will be a dress down day to support the S.E.A.L. Foundation. Students can pay $5. S.E.A.L. has been instrumental in helping Holy Name to grow its students support program, so please consider participating.
There will be a middle school dance on Friday, October 25 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The cost is $5. Students may wear their Halloween costumes. Please pay online.
The deadline for CYO sign-ups is October 15. For more information, email Coach Shea or call 508-562-1481.
Please consider donating baked goods to be sold during our Oktoberfest Festival!
- Store-bought and homemade items are appreciated.
- You may drop off your donations at Holy Name School on Friday, October 4 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturday, October 5 starting at 9:00 a.m.
- Please label all baked goods containing nuts. If possible, please place items in individual bags and price them.
Futsal will be starting up in the middle of November, but it's not too soon to start signing your students up! We will also need coaches, so please let me know if you are willing and able to help us out with leading the teams.
Attached is the registration form, waiver, and overview. Please return the registration form, waiver, and payment as soon as possible. Since space will depend upon how many coaches sign up, it may be limited. Therefore, it will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
Anyone interested in coaching may send an email or call 508-496-0907 (you can call or text). You will need to fill out a CORI form, which should be done rather quickly.
Tuesday, September 24 will be a dress down day to support Oktoberfest. Students can either pay $5 or donate a case of soda or water for Oktoberfest.
This is a friendly reminder that Friday, September 27 is an early release day for faculty and staff for professional development. There will be no extended care available. Students must be picked up by 11:30 a.m.
Vendors and crafters are needed for the Holy Name School Oktoberfest Craft Fair on Saturday, October 5, 2024, from noon to 6:00 p.m. The location of the fair is 850 Pearce Street, Fall River, MA 02720. The fee is $40 and includes an eight foot table. Please message or email for an application.
