Tanzania Donations

This summer, Missions for Humanity, a non-profit organization founded and run by Holy Name parishioner Kathy Crosson, will again be traveling to Tanzania to provide education and healthcare to people living there. Joining them this year are Holy Name parishioners and Holy Name School alumni Anthony and Dorothy Mahoney-Pacheo. The Holy Name Ambassadors are asking for your support in this effort by donating supplies during the month of April. We will collect donations through April 30. Girls Softball Program

The Police Athletic League of Fall River is providing a softball program for girls ages six to 19. The cost is $85 for softball and $40 for t-ball. Registration takes place from April 6 through April 15. Please see our girls softball program flyer for more information.

Luxury Raffle

Holy Name School is holding our first annual 50/50 Luxury Fundraiser! Only 200 tickets are available to sell and each ticket costs $100. If all tickets sell, the school will receive $10,000 and the winner will also receive a jackpot of $10,000. Please consider purchasing a ticket using our order form. Thank you for your support of Holy Name School! We will announce the winner at our family cookout in June.

April Vacation

Holy Name School students begin their April vacation at the end of school this Friday, April 13. The school will resume on Monday, April 23. We hope all of our students have a wonderful break!

Upper School Dance

The next upper school dance is on Friday, April 6 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The theme of the dance is casual black and white. We ask that all students dress accordingly. The cost of the dance is $7.00 which will cover the cost of the disc jockey and refreshments. Please complete and return the upper school dance permission slip by Thursday, April 5. We will not accept permission slips at the dance.

Week Of The Young Child 2018

Please join us for a free literacy fair for the entire family on Saturday, April 7 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Kuss Middle School. There will be children's activities, music, animals, special characters, and more! Please see the event flyer for more information.

Albert E. Mercier Scholarship

St. Anne's Credit Union will award one $500 cash scholarship to a student attending Holy Name School in grades 6, 7, or 8 in the fall of 2018. Applications are due on or before Tuesday, May 1. Please see the scholarship application for more complete details.

The Stations of the Cross

On Friday, March 23, the eighth-grade students will lead the school in the Stations of the Cross. The Stations of the Cross will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the auditorium and should be no longer than 30 minutes. Parents are welcome to attend if they desire.


Yearbooks will be on sale from March 13 through April 13. Yearbooks will be in color, and the cost is $27, cash or check payable to Holy Name School. Order yours today!

Parent-Teacher Conferences

Parent-teacher conferences are on Thursday, March 15 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. We will dismiss all students at 11:30 a.m., and there is no lunch or after school extended care on this day. We will post sign-up sheets outside of the classrooms beginning on Monday, March 12. We look forward to sharing your student's progress with you.
