On June 3, Donnelly's will be holding a virtual sizing/ordering event for our school. If you’d like to order online, you can do so by using the Donnelly site.
Governor Baker announced that today children have permission to be outside without their masks for recess and physical education, without maintaining social distancing! With the wonderful weather this week, it is great to see the children playing in a much more normal fashion. We will continue to wear masks and maintain distancing while inside the school building. For more information regarding masks and our future uniform events, please read our May 18, 2021, letter to parents in its entirety.
Donnelly’s is holding a virtual fitting for uniforms on Thursday, June 3. Please see our school uniforms flyer, and visit the Donnelly's website for more information.
In the interest of keeping everyone safe, it is imperative that all parents or guardians wear masks any time that they are on campus, particularly at dismissal when there is a sizeable number of people congregating to pick up their children. Please be conscious of social distancing requirements and keep separated by six feet. Together, we can make a difference in stopping the spread!
We are still hopeful that we will be able to have functions/field trips that require volunteers. In order to volunteer, you will need to have an up-to-date CORI form. If you are interested in this, please email Ms. Chippendale.
Please look for an email from Mrs. Krauzyk on Tuesday of each week that provides a link for your lunch order and payment. Lunch forms are also available on our website.
Report cards for trimester two are now available via Gradelink for grades K through eight. Log in to your Gradelink account and you will see the option to download your child's report card as a PDF in the right-hand corner of the page.
If you are using your smartphone app, it will highlight a blue tab labeled "view latest report card." If you are unsure of how to access your Gradelink account, we sent a separate email out with your login information. Be sure to watch for an email coming from Gradelink. If you don't see it, please check your spam or junk folder.
Please remember that if you travel out of state, your child must quarantine for 14 days upon return. Please see all requirements on the Massachusetts state government website. Please note that if your child is under ten, they may return to school as long as their parents have tested negative. Students must wait for parents’ test results before returning to school. We will need a copy of the parents’ negative test results.
If you decide that you would like to choose the remote option for your child, please let Mr. Flanagan know as soon as possible. Please note that there is no option of partially remote learning currently at Holy Name School. Due to the importance of tracking student absences for contact tracing purposes by the department of health in the event of a positive case, we need to know as soon as possible in the morning if your child will be absent due to sickness. Please contact Ms. Chippendale to inform her of the symptoms your child is experiencing.
Reminder, we ask that you please email Mrs.Krauzyk or call the office in the morning if you will be using extended care. This will allow us to make the necessary safety preparations for all students. Of course, if you need to use extended care at the last minute, it is always available. Please visit our Square site to pay for Holy Name extended care online.
