Please join us for an Oktoberfest dinner on Saturday, October 29. Doors open at 5:00 p.m., dinner begins at 5:45 p.m., and there will be live entertainment from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tickets are $25 per seat, $135 for a table of six, and $5 for kids. Do you have a string instrument (violin, viola or cello) that you have played for one year or more and would like to get back to playing again with other students? We would like to invite you to join us for Strings Club! For more information, please see the Strings Club flyer which includes a permission slip due by October 17, 2022.
Please support our Oktoberfest Bake Sale by signing up to work at the table or donating individually wrapped baked goods. If you are interested, please fill out the Oktoberfest Bake Sale form.
Please take a moment to read Mrs. Tavares' letter to parents regarding our annual eighth-grade Christmas pageant.
You will receive a weekly lunch menu from Mrs. Krauzyk on Tuesday morning. If you have an issue with the email, you can always order lunch through our website. Just remember that no orders will be accepted after noon on Thursday.
The Holy Name student directory will be worked on in the coming days. You have all been asked to fill out the “public relations” section of our forms, which is where you would indicate if you do not want to take part. If you have yet to fill out the form, please do so at this time. Please indicate exactly what you would like in the directory.
On October 27 we will have our fall parent/teacher conferences. This is already scheduled as an 11:30 a.m. dismissal day. Conferences will be held via Zoom as in the previous two years. The middle school will schedule conferences in the morning from 8:45 to 11:45 a.m., as well as the afternoon and evening from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. and 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. Middle school students will still attend school for the half day and follow an alternative program for the day. All other grades will schedule conferences from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. and 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. All conferences are scheduled for 10 minutes. (If you need more time to discuss your child with their teacher, kindly arrange for a meeting on another day.)
We are looking forward to all things fall—the changing leaves, the cool, crisp air, and the smell of pumpkin spice—but most importantly, Oktoberfest! Join us for a day filled with festivities on Saturday, October 22 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. It will include all of the fun from our former harvest festival and more!
Why not extend the fun? Our Oktoberfest dinner on Saturday, October 29 will include music, authentic and delicious German food, live music, a raffle, and more! The proceeds from these festivities will help support our school. Want to know how you can help? Fill out the PALS donation form by October 21, sign up to volunteer for any of our Oktoberfest committees, or make a donation for our silent auction and penny sale. We greatly appreciate your help and support!
Club Hope is looking for donations of toiletries to create bags to donate to the Sacred Heart/Holy Name food pantry. We are in need of:
- Travel size shampoo
- Travel size conditioner
- Floss or floss picks
- Travel size deodorant
- Travel size body wash
- Soap
- Travel size mouthwash
- Small combs or brushes
- Hand sanitizer

The Catholic Youth Futsal League is open for pre-kindergarten children to learn the game of futsal and have fun with their peers. The cost is $100 per child, and training is every Saturday from 3:30 to 4:20 p.m. starting in November and continuing to March. Please see below for more information.
