Supporting the needs of all students is essential to the mission of Holy Name School. Students with learning disabilities have full access to a Catholic curriculum through the supports available in our student support program. Individualized support is ensured through the creation of a Student Success Plan.
At Holy Name, students with IEPs and 504s are able to receive accommodations and modifications in the classroom. They also have access to the support of special education teachers and interventionists as they work with students 1-1, in small groups, and within the classroom towards achieving their academic goals. Students are able to find success and access the curriculum and thrive through the direct support and services they receive.
Holy Name School is proud to partner with the S.E.A.L. Foundation. A special education consultant from the S.E.A.L. Foundation works directly with Holy Name to provide the faculty and staff with direct support in how to best serve the needs of students by providing consultation and professional development.
Support is also provided to families as they request evaluations, navigate the IEP process, and advocate for their children. Through the partnership with the school and families, students are able to find the support to grow and achieve as students.
