The next School Life Committee meeting is on Tuesday, March 28 at 6:00 p.m. We will be discussing the upcoming walk-a-thon on Saturday, May 6. This is an important fundraiser for our school, and we hope all families will participate.
The Fall River Deanery Lenten Mission presents Encountering the Divine Physician from Monday, March 27 through Thursday, March 30. There will be daily masses and confessions. Please see our Fall River Deanery Lenten Mission flyer for complete details.
Order your Holy Name School 2022–2023 yearbook today! Please fill out the form using the link below if you would like to order a yearbook. It is likely that we will concentrate on the 8th grade this year for some of the content since this is their last year at Holy Name School. All orders are due by Tuesday, April 25. We will distribute yearbooks at the end of the school year.
The cost of the yearbook is $25. 8th grade students will all receive a complimentary copy, so you do not have to order for them.

Holy Name School will hold parent-teacher conferences in person on Thursday, March 23. Availability is limited, so please schedule your appointment as soon as possible. Please see our parent-teacher conferences flyer for more information.
As the year goes on, we want to be sure that our students are safe during morning drop off. Please review our drop-off procedures for a list of safe practices.
The Missions for Humanity teams need supplies for their 2023 trip to Tanzania. Most of the people served by Missions for Humanity teams live in very rural areas without electricity and running water. Something as simple as a toothbrush or pencil can be life-changing. The teams will take all items collected to Tanzania this July. Dear Holy Name School Families,
Ash Wednesday, marking the beginning of the season of Lent in the church year, begins in just over a week, on Wednesday, February 22.
Since it falls during school vacation, I want to give special encouragement to everyone to find a way to mark this day by coming to church. The message of this day calls us to reflect on our lives and on how we are called to better ourselves with the help of God’s grace.
I encourage you to go to your own churches on this day. Here at Holy Name, where all of you are always welcome, our schedule is as follows:
- 7:00 a.m. – Mass
- 9:00 a.m. – Mass
- 12:10 p.m. – Service with Distribution of Ashes*
* This is a shorter service for those who may be coming on their lunch break - 6:30 p.m. – Mass

A Clam Cake and Chowder Dinner will be held on Saturday, March 4. Food will be served from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. following 4:00 p.m. Mass. Tickets will be sold after each Mass beginning February 17 and 18. They will also be sold February 25 and 26. Tickets are also available in the school office. They are $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children 12 and under.
February 20 through February 24 is Mid-Winter Break. There will be no school and we hope that you enjoy some much-deserved rest and relaxation with your families.
Grade eight will be selling Ring Pops on Tuesday, February 14. Pops will be $1 each, and you can purchase them that day or pre-order them in advance. If you are pre-ordering as a gift to someone, you will need to fill out the to and from so we can make labels in advance. We are unable to accept online payment for this event. Please send cash and your completed order form in a sealed envelope to Ms. Chippendale’s attention.
